Important Note

As L. Ron Hubbard developed the subject of Scientology, he observed his Term details

" >students sometimes had trouble fully understanding his teachings.

This led him to develop Study Technology so anyone could learn and apply his teachings.

We don't want learning barriers to prevent you from getting the most out of L. Ron Hubbard's writings and lectures. You can click on THIS LINK for a few study pointers to help you out.

Which book format is right for you?

  • EPUB - The EPUB format works on most non-Amazon (non-Kindle) platforms. For example, the Nook or the iPad (with the Term details
" >program iBooks) use EPUB format. If you are using an Android device, you can install an app that will allow you to view EPUB files. It is also possible to view EPUB files on a PC by downloading an appropriate application. One example of a good, free ereader for EPUB is Calibre. Calibre works on a computer and on tablets or phones. You can also search your app store for an ereader app.
  • MOBI - The MOBI format is the one to choose for any Kindle device. In order to send a MOBI book to your Kindle, there are a few options:
    • USB method—Download the book to your laptop or desktop and then connect your Kindle with a USB cord and move the file over to your Kindle
    • Email method—Follow Amazon's instructions to email the MOBI book to your kindle device.
  • PDF - PDFs can be viewed on nearly any kind of computer or device without needing to install additional apps or software. Note that PDFs don't allow you to use certain features. You won't be able to change your font or font size, for example. And you many need to manually move the pdf page around with your finger on a phone or tablet. PDF's are usually easiest to read on a laptop or desk computer. Since this format demands the least amount of system requirements, it's the perfect choice for devices with memory constraints like older versions of the Kindle or iPad.
