Checksheet

1. Given to a student when they first begin a course, a checksheet is a list of all the study materials needed, along with the sequence of actions a student follows to fulfill the obligations of a course. Each step gives the student some direction, such reading a chapter from a book, doing a drill with a student, listening to a tape, etc.

Under the guidance of a course supervisor, the student does these steps in the order they are given, signing each one off as they go. Once the person has completed all the steps on the checksheet, they will have completed the course.
