Preclear
Someone who is bettering themselves through Scientology or Dianetic counseling techniques. This term originally comes from Dianetics because a person who has reached the end goal of Dianetics is called a Clear.
Anyone who is receiving Scientology or Dianetic processing is referred to as a preclear. (Phoenix Lectures, “Chapter 2”) (HCOB 5 Apr 69)
