Academy
1. A classroom offering Scientology courses. One goes there to gain understanding and practice the skills of Scientology. An academy’s primary purpose is to train auditors, but there are dozens of different courses covering all aspects of Scientology.
Each academy has at least one Course Supervisor to help students with their courses. An Academy has two main rooms. One, called the theory room, is where students do quiet study. The other is the practical room where students do drills to develop the skills they are studying. Sometimes there is a third area where students audit others to develop their auditor skills.
The Academy is also called the “course room.”
