Perceptics
1. Messages received from one’s senses. For example, from the sense of ‘sight’ one receives messages about color, shape, perspective, brightness, movement, etc.
2. In auditing, this term also refers to sense messages a person can access from their memory. When accessed it is sometimes possible for a person to experience these sense messages in a way that feels just as real as the original time of perception. For example, a person recalling a time their grandmother made cookies might smell the cookies as if they were being baked right now.
