The Bridge (aka The Grade Chart)
The Grade Chart was originally called The Bridge. In DMSMH, Hubbard first mentioned Dianetics auditing as a bridge to help Man span the chasm between the current state of Man and Man’s state at a higher plateau.
Dianetics processing as taught in DMSMH gave the original means to build this bridge. Over the years, L. Ron Hubbard continued developing Dianetics and then evolved Scientology. The Bridge evolved with them and after many iterations became essentially what you can see in this Grade Chart.
The terms The Bridge and The Grade Chart are synonymous.
